OPEYS Plunket Education and Care Centre was established over 40 years ago by Plunket to meet the needs of the families and children in the local community. OPEYS has evolved and the centre affectionately named by parents meaning Otumoetai Plunket Educating Youngsters. It is a community, not-for-profit centre under the umbrella of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society.
